OSCAR post 3 wicket win in 17th Manipur Veteran Cricket tourney

Imphal, December 10 2019: Oscar, Paona Bazar managed a 3 wicket win over DSU, Kwakeithel yesterday in a league match of the 17th Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2019-20 organised by Manipur Veteran Cricket Association at Langthabal Public Ground.

DSU won the toss and piled up 188 runs for 8 in the first innings (30 over) but OSCAR fought well to reach 190 in 29.3 overs with 3 wickets left in the hand.

Somorjit topscored for DSU in their innings as he smashed 42 runs in 37 balls while Tomba and Chingtam earned 40 and 36 runs respectively on their way to 188 runs total.

In the OSCAR'S bowling, Anggu finished best with 3 wickets in his name in 6 overs while his team mates Lalboy and Devkanta fetch a wicket each.

In reply, OSCAR has a positive start with Ninghor hitting a 56-ball 55 and Gogou and Hokandro had a sensible innings adding up 30 and 28 runs to ensure the win.

DSU's Maison picked up two wickets in this innings while Tomba and Samananda managed a wicket each.
