Imphal, August 10 2024: Md Fajirul Haque of The Gym Reborn and Sinam Momocha of OGUS T Gym, New Checkon were crowned Senior and Junior bodybuilding champions in the 21st Mr Imphal East Bodybuilding Contest 2024 organised by the Imphal East District Bodybuilders Association under the aegis of the All Manipur Body Builders Association.

The district level bodybuilding contest was held at Sawombung Community Hall today.

Md Fajirul Haque finish on top in the senior category bodybuilding competition to seal the Mr Imphal East title asWangkheirakpam Priyobarta of Liang Tuang Kamei Foundation of Neikalong and Rajkumar Mangal of Super Gym, Khurai secured the second and third places.

Salam Nelson of Marker Fitness Centre, Yairipok and Moirangthem Sagar of Xtreme Fitness, Mantripukhri were able to finish fourth and fifth in the same event.

Meanwhile in the junior bodybuilding contest, Sinam Momocha was adjudged best as Rajkumar Mangal of Super Gym finished second and Thangjam Ashish of 3 Brothers Gym, Kongpal finished third.

Haobijam Deepak of Super Gym and Shijagurumayum Udaykumar of YBB Gym, Pishum were able to secure the fourth and fifth places in the same competition.

Kh Rozer Ali of Wild Gym, Hatta in the meantime sealed the men's sports physique title in the contest as Yaihenbam Thoidingjam of Gym 24, New Checkon; Ksh Anand of YBB Gym, Md Fazarul Hussian Epham of 3 Brothers Gym, Kongpal and Oinam Lanchenba of YBB Gym finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.Meanwhile, Laishram Modhu of X Fitness, Wangkhei clinched the Masters' bodybuilding crown while his compatriot Sanasam Ranjan finished second.

Laishram Tombisana of RCC, YAS Khuman Lampak was placed third in the event as Master Athletic Gym's RK Joykumar and Ngasepam Tiken were adjudged fourth and fifth.

In all 37 athletes from 22 different gyms competed for top honours in the district level contest.
