SAG wushu gold medallist N Roshibina feted

Naorem Roshibina who won a gold medal in the Sanshou Sanda event of Wushu in the 13th South Asian Games which is underway in Nepal, was accorded a warm welcome and feted by Kwashiphai Youth Voluntary Organisation at Kwasiphai Mamang Bazar Community Hall under Bishnupur district along with her coach Maibam Premkumar in a simple function yesterday.
Speaking on the sideline of the function, the wushu player who won the yellow metal in the 60 kg Sanshou Sanda fight competition, said that she was extremely satisfied with her performance in the 7-Nation games.
Aiming to become world champions, Roshibina promised to work harder and give more better performance in the coming days.
Coach Romen who was also present on the occasion, maintained that Roshibina is indeed a very good player and her performance is something beyond her league.
She has a great future ahead, he added.
Roshibina's father Naorem Dhamu and mother Naorem ongbi Romila Devi were also present at the programme.
