YDC-B, Tolei FC win in 3rd YDC Trophy

Imphal, April 09 2019: YDC-B, Khoirom held their nerves to overcome Irengbal FC by 3-2 goals in a Group F league match of the 3rd YDC Trophy Soccer Tournament 2019 being organised by Youth Development Committee, Yairipok Khoirom at its ground while Tolei FC posted a narrow 1-0 win against Thoiba FC in a Group H league match staged earlier.

Dinesh of Irengbal FC found the breakthrough early in the 6th minute of the second match of the day but YDC-B had a great day out as Krishnanda drew level in the 14th minute before breaking the deadlock two minutes latter.

Binoy then gave YDC-B the two goal cushion in the 26th minute of the match before Chingang of Irengbal FC pulled back a goal in the 28th minute.

Irengbal FC however failed to draw level as YDC-B stood firm and well to deny any scoring chances in the latter part of the game.

PYC-A, Phouden will be meeting BSU, Keirao in a Group B league match of the tournament tomorrow at 1.30 pm .
