DSA Kakching Super Divn, 1st Divn to begin shortly

Imphal, March 09 2021: The 19th Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2021 and the 18th Ksh Kishokumar 1st Division Football League 2021 are commencing respectively from March 14 and 15 respectively under the aegis of District Sports Association Kakching.

The Super Division tournament sponsored by Dr Th Ojit Singh will see 8 teams clubbed into two groups compete for the top honours.

Teams participating in this league event are:
Group A: Social Welfare Club (SWC), Keirak; All Kakching Khunou Sports Association (AKSA); Sunrise Development Club (SRDC); Juvenile Association (JA):
Group B: Sena Athletic Organisation (SAO); Social Welfare Club, Waikhong; United Brothers Sporting Association (UBSA), Mantak and Laipham Youth Association, Wangoo.

The opening match will be played between SWC, Keirak and Juvenile Association, Kakching from 12.15 pm on March 14.AKSA will play SRDC later at 2.15 pm the same day.

The first division tournament sponsored by Kishokumar Memorial Trust will also feature 8 teams clubbed into two groups.

The Group A consists of teams namely, Phunal Sambum Youth Club (PSYC), Phunal; Youth Welfare Union (YWU), Kakching; Development Youth Association (DYA), Elangkhangpokpi and Uyok Chingya Club (UCC), Kakching.

Meanwhile the Group B will see Sugnu Football Club (SFC); All Irengband Football Association (AIFA); Kakching Town Club (KTC) and Keirak Makha Social Welfare Club (KMSWC) compete.

PYSC and UCC will open up the tournament at 12.15 pm on March 15 before YWU take on DYA from 2.15 pm the same day.
