Imphal, February 07 2022: THAU-A, Thangmeiband extended winning streak to three in the ongoing 1st MNCA Women's One Day Trophy with a 114 run victory against PTRC, Patsoi today at Luwangpokpa Cricket stadium.

Brahmacharimayum Seterny, who hit an unbeaten half century, smacked 13 fours and a six en route to her unbeaten ton (116 off 119 balls) in THAU-A's big win today after winning the toss.

With skipper Kalpana adding another significant 42 runs today and thanks to 34 extra runs, THAU-A gave PTRC a target of 224 runs for 6 in the allotted 35 overs.

The innings saw PTRC's Manimacha Devi Angom and Sayatombi fetching two wickets each as Ranjita Devi Koijam bagged a wicket.

In reply, PTRC succumbed to 109 all out within 23.1 as right arm medium pacers of THAU-A, Kiranbala (2/28 in 4 overs) and Waikhom Ganga (3/16 in 5.1 overs) spun a web around the PTRC batters.

RK Linthoingambi Devi was the highest run getter for PTRC with 43 runs to her credit in this innings which also witnessed Milan Chanu clinching a wicket for 20 runs in 6 overs.

Eventually, Seterny was named woman of the match.

With three of three wins in the 5 team tournament, THAU-A are in pole position of the league table on 6 points while PTRC are second with two wins in three matches.
