Imphal, January 07 2022: Defending champions, Tekcham Polo Club-A successfully defended their Thoubal District Polo Tournament title thrashing Tentha Polo Club by 9-3 goals today in the tourney's second edition final.

K Jugendra starred in this match as he scored crucial 5 goals alone after the first chukker ended barren.

Jugendra scored all three goals for the defending champions in the second chukker which also saw P Bikash score a goal for the Tenta team.

Jugendra and M Kuber took their turns to add a goal each in the third chukker after S Naoba scored a goal for Tentha Polo Club to make it 5-2.K Jugendra then completed his haul of five goals in the opening minute of the final chukker before M Abhigyan, S Sadananda and M Kuber added a goal each to further extend the lead while P Bikash added another goal for the losing team to make it 3-9 .
