India-Tajikistan friendly: National squad selected

Imphal, August 06 2013:
A 20-member squad of Indian national team has been selected for an international friendly match with Tajikistan to be held in Khujand, Tajikistan on 14th August.
The Indian squad that has been short-listed by Wim Koevermans, Indian team coach, who would leave along with the team for Tajikistan from New Delhi on 9th August.
They have four days to acclimatise to the local environment.
After the match, they would return to the national capital on 16th August from where they would proceed to Bangalore for the preparatory camp for the SAFF Championship.
The 20-member list:
Goalkeepers: Karanjit Singh, Sandip Nandy, Subhasish Roychowdhury.
Defenders: Denzil Franco, Nirmal Chettri, Arnab Mondal, Gouramangi Moirangthem, Raju Gaikwad, Gurjinder Kumar.
Midfielders: Mehtab Hossain, Lalrindika Ralte, Arata Izumi, Lenny Rodriguez, Jewel Raja Shaikh.
Forwards: Francis Fernandes, Shylo Malsawmtluanga, Clifford Miranda, Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Dawson Fernandes.
