Imphal, December 05 2024: Chumbang FC and Kankhu Athletic FC enjoyed easy victories in Thursday's action of the Sepoy Nicholas Moyon Memorial Football Tournament 2024 at Ziontlang village playground, Chandel.

Chumbang FC romped past Soltang FC 5-0 in a one-side contest.

Sungrim set the tone early, scoring twice in the 1st and 12th minutes.

Daimas upped the ante, tripling their lead in the 21st minute.

Then Ahong found their fourth goal in the 50th minute before Richard rounded off the scoring in the 70th minute, sealing an emphatic win.

Kankhu Athletic FC cruised to a 3-0 win over Purum Tampak SC.

Darthangthing opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Sn Bungdam doubled the advantage in the 51st minute, and N1 Phowlson converted a penalty in the 63rd minute to secure the 3-0 result.

Chandel Christian YC fought back from a goal down to beat Kapaam DC 2-1 .

Alpha gave Kapaam the lead in the 28th minute, but Wng Rucho all it all square for Chandel Chris tian in the 43rd minute.

Then N1 Inhlungam's 74th-minute goal completed the turnaround for Chandel Christian.

Meanwhile, Tonsen YC overcame United Chandel FC in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 stalemate.

Malchung gave United Chandel the lead in the 51st minute before Karung Basanta equalised for Tonsen YC in the 70th.In the ensuing shootout, Stephen Kom, Akbar Kom, Jonathan, and Jimmy Kom converted their penalties to propel Ton-sen YC to a 4-2 victory.
