Lanchenbi FC prevail 4-1 in Pradhan Trophy opener

Imphal, January 05 2020: Lanchenbi FC overwhelmed JMR FC 4-1 today in the opening match of the 3rd Pradhan Trophy being organised Hayel Young Popular Club, Hayel at Ibudhou Ikop Ningthou Maru Nongshaba playground.

Altogether 24 teams clubbed into 8 groups are taking part in this football tournament.

Lanchenbi FC, Tabungkhok got off to a flying start and were 3-0 ahead in the first half before finishing the game 4-1 in this Group A league encounter.

Mahesh did the star turn in this match scoring twice including the opener while Herojit and Santosh scored a goal each to set up the big win.

Mahesh set the tone of the huge win by opening up the account in the 4th minute while Herojit scored the team's second in the 13th minute.

Mahesh helped Lanchenbi continue the celebration by scoring his second the very next minute before Bobi Ningthoujam pulled back a goal for JMR FC, Thoudam in the 27th minute.

Lanchenbi FC latter attempts were kept at bay by JMR Defense for a good portion of the second half until Santosh fired home the final nail in the 50th minute and made it 4-1 .
