33rd Dist Inter Club and State Open Ranking TT Championships concludes

Imphal, October 04 2015: L Bikram Singh (MPSC) clinched the men's singles title after defeating Y Dinesh Singh (AG) in the 33rd District Inter Club and State Open Ranking Table Tennis Championships, which concluded today at Indoor Stadium, DM College Campus, Imphal.

The closing ceremony of the tournament which was organised by the District Table Tennis Association, Imphal West under the aegis of Manipur Table Tennis Association was graced by MLA Laishom Ibomcha, MTTA president Kh Loken Singh, Babina Healthcare and Hospitalities Pvt Ltd Managing Director Dr Th Dhabali Singh and District Table Tennis Association IW, president AK Bijoy singh as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

In the women's singles final, A Sanatombi Devi (IW) routed M Bindiya Devi (IW) in straight sets 11-7, 11-5, 11-5, 11-7 .

Th Dharmendra and Ksh Vikash cinched the men's doubles final by defeating Th Akshaykumar and N Imomacha (11-9, 11-3, 12-10) while in the women's doubles final, N Ana and H Senorita claimed a 3-0 (11-8, 11-9, 11-8) win against M Bindiya and I Monalisha.

In the youth events, Kh Bantakumar (IW) and I Monalisha (IW) respectively clinched the boys' and girls' titles.

K Rohit of Imphal West and H Senorita of Thoubal shone as they emerged the champions of the junior boys and girls category.

In the sub-junior group, K Kenao Singh (IW) won the boys' title while H Senorita (TBL) bagged the girls' title.

H Roddy (IE) and H Geetalaxmi (IW) clinched the cadet boys and girls title respectively.
