Leimakhong Hill Town Committee greets karate gold medallist Pratik

Imphal, December 02 2019: Leimakhong Hill Town Committee Kangpokpi District, Manipur has extended heartiest congratulations to Master Pratik Dahal, son of Tiken Dahal of Leimakhong Bazar Hill Town on winning 2 (two) gold medals at the 6th ISKF International Open Karate Champioship 2019, hosted by Indian Martial Art Academy of Odisha (ISKF) from November 29 to December 1 at Sports Complex Municipality Office, Jharsuguda (Odisha).

Pratik Dahal (20 kg category) excelled in the kata and kumite events to win the two gold medals, said a congratulatory note sent by Leimakhong Hill Town Committee.

The committee expressed utmost appreciation to the young lad for doing remarkably well at such a young age and bringing laurel to the State and the Kangpokpi district in particular.

The committee also wished Pratik Dahal a greater success in years to come.

He has so far achieved 13 medals at various State and National Championship including 7-gold, (4 gold in Kata & 3 gold in Kumite), 4- silver, (2 each in Kata & Kumite) and 2-bronze in Kumite.

The committee also thanked District Administration Kangpokpi for acknowledging the achievement of Pratik Dahal during I-Day Celebration last year and further urged the authorities concerned to provide the young karatekan some financial assistance as an encouragement.
