4th TDCA T-20 Tournament : RCA slump to 5 wicket loss, CAL beat AMCA by 4 wickets

RCA lost by 5 wickets to SYDO as CAL beat AMCA by 4 wickets in today's matches of the 4th TDCA Cricket Tournament organised by Thoubal District Cricket Association at Moijing playground.
In the 18th match of the double league tournament, CAL chased down the 81 run target set by AMCA with a ball and 4 wickets left to spare.
In the match that was reduced to 15 overs an innings, AMCA opted to bat first and gathered 80 runs for 7 wickets courtesy double figure runs from Naeem (12), Boynao (20) and Mustafa (20) .

The innings saw Danish of CAL fetching four wickets alone for 14 runs in his spell of 3 overs before the same player topscored with 29 runs in response to help his team register 4 wicket win.
Akip also added 10 runs in the chase and Nawas (6) and Imran (0) were unbeaten on the crease as the team secured a tough win.
Mustafa of AMCA managed two wickets in this innings while Yahiya, Kanta and Washim picked up a wicket apiece in a lost cause.
Danish of CAL who produced an all round show was named man of the match.
Meanwhile in the 19th match of the tournament, RCA collected a total of 79 runs for 4 wickets in allotted 12 overs before SYDO cruised to 83 for 5 win in the last ball thriller.
Sameer added an unbeaten 30 off 17 balls in RCA's innings after Zameer scored 20 runs.
Imran, Hefajuddin and BM Irfan of SYDO shared a wicket apiece in this innings.
Needing 80 for the win, SYDO had a cautious start and rode on Abdur Rafik 30 and BM Irfan 10 to draw level with a ball left to spare.
A run in the last ball was enough for the team to win but chose a four to close out the game with style.
Raeesh Khan (5) and Sarif (5) were on the crease unbeaten as the chase came to a close.
