N Hazari & Dr Tombi State polo MPSC-C, ESC, KRYPSA win

Imphal, January 31 2017: MPSC-C, ESC, KRYPSA notched victories today in the ongoing 32nd N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State polo tournament 2017 at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The first match saw MPSC-C registering an easy 8-3 win over Kangleipak Polo Star Club.

Th Romen scored a massive four goals while Viking S and S Abungcha contributed two goals each in MPSC's win.

The goals for KPSC were scored by L Okendro, Naobi and Sanjoy.

In the second match, Eastern Students' Club drubbed Chingkheihunba PC by a margin of 13 goals to two.

Prabin (five goals), Ramesh (four goals), Samananda (two goals) and Momocha (two goals) scored for ESC while the goals for CPC were netted by N Jel Singh and H Pritam.

In the last match of the day, KRYPSA eked out a 3-2 win over Tentha Polo Club.

Dollar Soram and S Deepak of KRYPSA while S Priyo and P Bikash of TPC scored a goal each in the normal time of the match.

As the two teams were tied 2-2, extra chukker was necessitated to decide the winners.

S Deepak of KRYPSA struck the winner in the extra chukker.
