31st N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament : Khurai, Ibudhou Thangjing claim easy wins

Imphal, December 31 2015 : Khurai Polo Club-B and Ibudhou Thangjing Polo Club -A registered easy wins against their opponents in the ongoing 31 st N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament, organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association (MHRPA), today at Imphal Polo Ground.

In the first match, Khurai Polo Club -B thrashed X-Polo Club-B by a margin of 9 goals to 3 .

It was a one sided match as Khurai Polo Club-B witnessed three goals in the first chukker through K Romeo, Th Nanao, M Devnath while H Jiban pulled back a goal for X-Polo Club.

In the second chukker, Ch Premjit, Th Premkumar and M Devnath contributed a goal each to make the scoreline 6- in favour of Khurai Polo Club-B .

Ch Premjit and Th Premkumar again scored a goal each in the third chukker.

In the final chukker a double from RK Purushmani gave two goals to X-Polo Club while Khurai Polo Club-B's Ch Premjit scored a goal to seal the match 9-3 .

In another match today, Ibudhou Thangjing Polo Club-A outclassed ESC-C by a margin of 11 goals to one.

The winning goals of Ibudhou Thangjing Polo Club-A were scored by M Doren (3), Kh Tombi (2), M Manitomba (2), O Somoijit (2), S Girimohon (1) and Md Abdul Malik (1) .
