Kung-fu meet medallists of Bishnupur felicitated

Bishnupur, November 20 2021: Bishnupur District Kick Boxing Association and Global Science Club, Khoijuman on Friday felicitated 17 medallists of Bishnupur district who participated in the 13th National Kung fu Championship held in Guwahati on October 28 .

The felicitation ceremony held at Khoijuman Bazar community hall was attended by Oinam A/C MLA L Radhakishwor, retired panchayat secretary S Ibopishak Singh, Khoijuman Kwasiphai GP S Santa Singh, Bishnupur District Kick Boxing Association president Ch Ibohal and BJP Oinam Mandal president Th Mangi as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Radhakishwor highlighted the need giving focus on sports.

The sportspersons should also be guided properly by the guardians, he added.

Urging the people to make a drug free society by working together, he assured of extending all possible help to Bishnupur District Kick Boxing Association.

In all, 17 players including 11 gold medallists, 2 silver medallists and 4 bronze medallists were felicitated.
