GC CRPF lift Inter GCs Bn badminton tournament trophy

Imphal, November 20 2021: GC CRPF emerged champions of the Inter GCs (ADM/OPS) Battalion Badminton Tournament 2021 of Manipur & Nagaland Sector.

The tournament was hosted by GC CRPF, Langjing, Imphal.

The GC CRPF team bagged 3 gold and 6 silver medals to win the tournament as 143 Bn finished runners-up.

DK Tripathi, DIGP CRPF GC Imphal, was the chief guest of the closing ceremony held on Friday.

The chief guest congratulated the winners, the runners-up and all the participating teams for making the tournament a grand success.

He also praised the GC CRPF Imphal for playing in a very professional manner and hoped that they would bring laurels to the CRPF at the inter force level competitions like India police meet and national level.

A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, a CRPF release said.
