AR facilitates conduct of 1st State Level Junior Open Volleyball Tournament

Imphal, January 09 2025: Assam Rifles provided administrative support for the successful organisation of the 1st State Level Junior Open Volleyball Tournament held at Sekmaijin Khunou in Kakching district from January 2-7, 2025 .

The week-long competition attracted seven clubs.

In the final match played on January 7, AMIMYDO defeated SVC AMIMYDO to claim a cash prize of Rs 20,000 .

The runners-up received Rs 15,000.Special gifts were also presented to both teams as a token of encouragement by the Assam Rifles.

Refreshments were also distributed to the spectators, an IGAR (S) release said.
