AIM submits representation to All Manipur Football Association (AMFA)

Imphal, October 30 2012: In response to a show cause notice, Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM) has submitted a representation to All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) .

Earlier on October 23, AIM submitted a representation with an appeal to the AMFA General Secretary to defer result of the football match played between SSU Singjamei and Manipur Police Sports Club for the 7th Manipur State League 2012 on October 23 since there was possibility of match-fixing.

This was followed by another representation submitted on October 25 which reportedly stated all the facts and circumstances of the match played between MPSC and SSU on October 23 .

The third representation submitted yesterday stated that AIM was not in a position to receive the runners up trophy as well as the case prize of Rs one lakh on the closing day of the 7th Manipur State League 2012 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium 'because of the above reason' .

The club would be ready to receive the trophy after disposal of the first two representations, it added.
