AR organises Friendly Volleyball match at Tangkhul Hundung

Ukhrul, December 29 2020: To build confidence and promote fitness among the youth, a friendly volleyball match was conducted in Tangkhul Hundung village in Ukhrul district between the local youths and troops of Assam Rifles, yesterday.

The village team won a nail biting contest and was felicitated with gifts, said a statement of IGAR(S).

The villagers conveyed their appreciation to the Assam Rifles organising the volleyball match during the festive season.

Later, volleyballs and chocolates were also distributed to the youths and children of Marao village to celebrate the coming New Year.
