Kakching 3rd Divn League : SDO notch up 7-3 win as FC Kakching Khunou hold LMLCC to 1-1 draw

Imphal, September 25 2019: FC Kakching Khunou played out a 1-1 draw with LMLCC, Langmeidong while SDO, Pallel clinched a comfortable 7-3 win against KYWAC, Wabagai in today's matches of the ongoing DSA Kakching 3rd Division Football League Tournament today at DSA playground.

In the first match of the day, Y Pakajao put LMLCC ahead in the 9th minute with a fine strike but FC Kakching responded quickly and drew level through H Rishikanta in the 15th minute of the match.

The two sides worked hard to find the winner in the latter part of the game but ended without any positive result and eventually both teams had to go home with a point each.

Meanwhile in a high scoring clash, Arnold took centrestage as he scored thrice to help SDO seal a 7-3 win against KYWAC.

Sandeep drew first blood early in the second minute and gave SDO a 1-0 lead before Arnold banged in the team's second goal in the 9th minute.

The scoring spree continued with Suresh striking the team's third two minutes latter before Bidyasagar of KYWAC pulled back a goal and made it 1-3 till the break.

After the restart, Arnold quickfired two goals in the 45th and the 48th minute and made their winning stance clear while Melei of the Wabagai side managed another goal for the team in the 52nd minute and made it 2-5 .

SDO carried forward their onslaught despite the huge lead and it was Ashutosh and Gautam who scored a goal each in the 57th and 59th minute to make it 7-2 in favour of SDO.

Sushil of KYWAC grabbed another latter in the 68th minute to make the scoreline read 3-7 at the end.

RFC, Wabagai Hiyanglam will meet SDO in the next fixture of the tournament on September 27 at 1 pm before LMLCC take on KYWAC latter at 2.30 pm .
