Imphal, June 25 2013: CYCLONE is leading the group A till the end of 24th match of the ongoing 1st RK Brajabihari Paul & Govind Paul Trophy-2013 with 16 points, while three teams of group B namely CHAMP, TRAU, BLUE HAWK are fighting for second spot with 12 points each.

Winning 4 matches out of 5, CYCLONE booked the top spot with a Net Run Rate (NRR) of 0.75.Model Club of group A, which had won 3 matches out of 4, is one step behind CYCOLNE with 12 points.

Other teams of the group, REYOUNGSTER and YWAC (L) have earned 8 points each.

Out of the 4 (four) matches played, REYOUNGSTER won 2 and lost in 2; YWC (L) won 3 and lost in a play.

CRAU which won one play out of its four matches has earned 4 points with a NRR of -1.33.THAU is at the last rung of the chart with no point with lowest NRR of -2.16 so far.

Leading team of group B and host of the trophy, CHAMP won 3 out of its 3 matches and the team has recorded highest NRR of 3.06.After the host team, TRAU, which had played 3 matches, is the other squad which has won all the matches.

But its 1.37 NRR left the team at second spot, while, BLUE HAWK, which lost one play out of its 4 matches is chasing the no.two spot with a NRR of 1.24 .

WCA and OSCAR of group B have earned 8 and 4 points with a NRR of -0.85 and-1.21 respectively.

YWC (P) is the weakest team of the group with -1.7 NRR and lost in all the 5 matches played.
