U-12 AITA Super Series : Poka-Durganshi, Harsh-Manan Nath clinch doubles title

Manan Nath dashed the hope of local boy, Ashwajit Senjam who was defeated in the first semifinal match of the Boys' singles title today while Harsh Phogat outplayed Anirudh Nallaparaju 6-1,6-1 in the second semi-final match of the ongoing National Ranking AITA Super Series for Under-12 Boys and Girls organised under the aegis of All India Tennis Association and Manipur Tennis Association at Imphal District Tennis Association Complex, Lamphel.
Imphal East District Tennis Association (IDTA) informed all the esteemed members of MATA/IDTA/HAO/THAU/Akampat/Eastern Tennis Court to grace the final match and prize distribution ceremony of IDTA-AITA Super Series at IDTA Tennis Complex, Lamphelpat on May 25 at 8.30 am.

Boys' singles: Harsh Phogat today registered a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win over Anirudh Nallaparaju to set up a final clash with Manan Nath who subdued Ashwajit Senjam 6-4, 6-4 of the boys' singles competition.
Boys' Doubles: Harsh Phogat and Manan Nath clinched the Boy's Doubles title today beating the pair of Mahalingam Kandhavel and Anirudh Nallaparaju 6-1, 6-1 in the final match.
Earlier, enroute to final, Harsh Phogat and Manan Nath overpowered the duo of Venkat Batlanki and Rurik Rajni 6-4, 6-2 in the first semi-final match of the Boy's Doubles competition while Mahalingam Kandhavel and Anirudh Nallaparaju defeated the pair of Dhruv Sachdeva and Siddhanth Sharma by 2-1 sets (4-6, 6-2, 10-6) in the crucial second semi-final match.
Girls' Singles: Sohini Sanj Mohanty outclassed Durganshi 6-1, 6-2 in the first semi-final match for girls singles competition to set up final clash with Kanumuri Ikaraju who thrashed Laxmi Bogala 6-0, 6-4 in the second semi-final clash today.
Girls' Doubles: Ridhi Poka and Durganshi emerged champions of the girls' double competition with a comprehensive win over the pair of Laxmi Bogala and Ikaraju Kanumuri in straight sets (6-2, 7-6(6)).The final match saw stiff competition from the pair of Laxmi Bogala and Ikaraju Kanumuri in the second set, however Ridhi Poka and Durganshi hold on to their advantage to turn the match in their favour.
