UCYC-A, LMYC-A, TNYC win in 2nd Khuyaikhu Kho-Phun Karbe Kothang Memorial Volleyball

Imphal, April 23 2019: UCYC-A, Uran Chiru; LMYC-A, Laipharok Maring and TNYC, Tamaram emerged triumphant in today's league matches of the 2nd Khuyaikhu Kho-Phun Karbe Kothang Memorial Volleyball Tournament, 2019 being organised by Laipharok Maring Youth Club, Manipur at its court.

The first match of the day witnessed UCYC-A carve out a 3-2 sets win against LMYC-B, Laipharok Maring in a keenly contested match.

It was a see saw affair as LMYC-B came back twice before UCYC-A raced ahead in the deciding set to seal the game 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 22-25, 19-17 .

In the second match, LMYC-A beat Waithou Phunal-B by 3-1 sets.

LMYC-A conceded the third set after a bright start and made a big return in the following set to finish the game 25-8, 25-12, 23-25, 25-10.Meanwhile in the third match, TNYC extended their winning run by beating LMYC-B by 3-1 sets.

TNYC took off the game on a bright note but lost the third set before wrapping up the game 25-8, 25-12, 23-25, 25-10 .

In the last match of the day, LMYC-A beat DuDu by 3-1 sets to open up their account.

LMYC-A went down in the second set after clinching the first set but roared back in the following sets to seal the game 25-16, 18-25, 25-15, 25-15 .
