YCCIC�B beats YCPA in Rashmani Memorial Hockey

Imphal, April 23 2013: YCCIC�B, Ahallup defeated YCPA, Chandel 5-4 in a kenly contested first match of the ongoing 1st Yumnam Rashmani Memorial Invitation Men 7-A-Side Hockey Tournament 2013 organised jointly by YCCIC and KSWC, Kontha Ahallup.

The match was an equally contested match with each players determined to win.

Th Robert of YCPA drew the first blood in the 7th minute of the match and his teammate T John scored the second goal of his team in the 9th minute.

Unable to open their goal account, YCCIC players put their best efforts in opening their goal account.

As a result of their desperate attempts, Y Chandra opened YCCIC's goal account in the 15th minute of the match.

He was soon followed by his teammate L Rameshchandra in scoring their second goal and equalised the score.

Meanwhile, the third goal of YCPA came from T John in the 32nd minute of the match.

But it was soon equalised by M Dinachandra of YCCIC in the 34th minute.

L Lanchenba added another goal in YCPA's account in the 42nd minute of the match and took his team in the lead.

Once again their joy was shortlived when L Rameshchandra scored a brace in the 44th minute of the match and equalised the score in a penalty stroke.

Minutes later, M Dinachandra added another goal in the 50th minute and took his team in the lead.

On the other hand, YCPA players failed to score a single goal against their opponents and they lost the match by a difference of only one goal.

Later, in the second match, MPSC�B humiliated goalless UYAC, Checkon with 11 goals and won the match.

M Purnachandra of MPSC scored three goals in the 14th, 22nd and 44th minutes.

P Jupiter scored two goals in the 11th and 32nd minutes.

S Bidyakumar also scored two goals in the 19th and 58th minutes.

L Lolendro, S Rabi, L Romio and M Shantikumar scored one goal each in the 8th, 35th, 39th and 40th minutes of the match respectively.
