U-16 TBSFA Football TBSFA-B trounce MSC 7-3, LFA-B edge past YTGPT 2-1

Imphal, February 23 2016: TBSFA-B and LFA-B claimed victories against their opponents in the ongoing 12th Under-16 State Level Th Birchandra Singh Football Academy Tournament, organised by Th Birchandra Singh Football Academy, Taobungkhok, today at TBSFA Sports Complex.

TBSFA-B, Taobungkhok trounced MSC, Malom by a margin of 7 goals to three in the first match.

A brace each from L Helkin (7th, 50th) and Th Regan (12th, 55th) and strikes from Suranjoy, Kishan and Naocha in the 23rd, 53rd and 59th minute respectively gave seven winning goals to TBSFA-B.On the other side, S Deven's treble in the 28th, 48th and 52nd minute gave three goals to MSC.

W Alex and N Sanjoy of MSC were cautioned for unsporting behaviour during the match.

In another match today, a goal each from L Maheshchand (36th) and H Anand (30th) helped LFA-B, Thinungei clinch a narrow 2-1 victory over YTGPT, Yairipok Top.

Ch Jackson was the lone scorer of YTGPT in the 51st minute.

LFA-B's Ng Dineshwor and K Taramba were yellow carded during the match.
