Imphal, July 20 2022: Arunachal Pradesh Tigers and Meghalaya Leopards wrapped up the league round as the two teams qualified alongside Manipur Sanguis and Sikkim Pandas for the semifinals of the 1 North East Women's League 2022 .

Arunachal ensured their place in the semifinals with a hard fought 1 -0 win over Mizoram Black Bears in the first match of the final day of the league round on Wednesday.

kai Rumi converted in the 35th minute and her effort eventually proved to be the winner.

Sikkim , meanw hile, had an easier game on their way to th e final four as they beat Nagaland Wild I logs by a 2 - 0 margin.

Nishilia Majaw opened the scoring just eight minutes from kickoff and Rushia doubled the lead with a 12th minute strike.

The Pandas then success fully fended off their opponents to seal their semifinal spot.

With the win.

Sikkim collected a total of 17 points over the course of the league round to finish second.

Group stage table leaders Manipur (19 pts) will take on Meghalaya in the first semifinal before Sikkim Pandas play Arunachal Pradesh.

The two semifinal matches will take place on July 22 .
