10th Manipur State League NISA blank TRUGPU; AIM stun NACO

Imphal, September 19 2015 : NISA, Thangmeiband and AIM, Khabam registered com-fortable victories in the ongoing 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

In the first match, NISA, Thangmeiband blanked TRUGPU, Nambol by a margin of 2 goals to nil.

After both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first half, the opening goal for NISA came in the 47th minute after Kh Naoton converted a corner kick through L Gouro Singh.

On the other side, the TRUGPU players fought hard to come back into the match but all their attempts went abegging.

The Thangmeiband side witnessed their second goal through N Rakesh Singh in the additional 92nd minute.

L Gouro and L Sanatomba of NISA and Sh Meiraba Singh and H Indrajit Singh of TRUGPU were cautioned.

In another match today, AIM, Khabam stunned NACO, Nambul Mapal by a margin of 2 goals to nil.

O Pitler header in the 55th minute through a corner kick from Tuishim Mashangva gave the opening goal to AIM in the 55th minute.

N Pritam banged in the second goal of AIM assisted by Tuishim Mashangva in the 88th minute making the final scoreline 2-0 .

AIM's N Pritam Singh and NACO's Kh Milan were booked with yellow cards during the match.

Tomorrow, ZFC, Churachandpur will play with TRAU, Kwakeithel at 2.30 pm.
