Imphal, October 18 2011: J Songtung Youth Club (JSYC), Sadar Hills wrested the title of the 16th M Chittamani Singh Memorial Winners' Cup 2011 football tournament on aggregate score.

Even though AMOFA, Moirang claimed victory by 3-2 score margin in the second final played today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur the 3-1 win by the Sadar Hills side in the first leg final at Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi on October 16 proved decisive in lifting the championship crown on home and away rule.

Any hope AMOFA had harboured to reverse the first final result suffered a jolt only five minutes into as a Paolen Lal cross was headed in by Thangjahao for the first JSYC goal.

While goals from Minthang (18th) and Abung (39th) restored the AMOFA aspiration for a comeback, Thangjahao's second goal in the summit clash in the 77th minute further dampened spirit of the Moirang for Alen's late strike (88th) only served as a consolation score.

closing ceremony of the tournament organised by All Manipur Football Association was held with Moirang AC MLA M Prithviraj and AMFA president A Santoshkumar as the chief guest and functional president respectively.
