Imphal, September 18 2011: The IGAR Cup Golf Tournament was organized today by Mantripukhri Ecological Park & Training Area (MEPTA) under the HQ IGAR (South) at Mantripukhri.

A total of 39 participants took part in the tournament under three teams MEPTA, MGA (Mantripukhri Golf Association) and RSEPTA.

The Best gross and overall championship was won by K Inderjeet Singh while Raj Chandra was the runner up.

Individual prizes were won by Havildar Parshuram Singh (Maximum Par), Brig Upendra Dwivedi and Col Rajeev Nagyal (Maximum birdie), Maj Gen CA Krishnan (Straight drive) .

The overall trophy for IGAR 2011 was won by K Inderjeet Singh and joint runner-ups were Brig HPS Pal and Col Vikram Singh.

Maj Gen CA Krishnan as the chief guest of the occasion, gave away prizes to the winners.

MGA vice president M Lala appreciated the Assam Rifles' immence contribution in extending facilities of MEPTA to the civil society.
