Th Romeo to officiate at 22nd Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball C'ship

Imphal, July 17 2024: Manipur's Thokchom Romeo, who is an international volleyball referee, is all set to officiate at the 22nd Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship to be hosted by Indonesia in Surabaya from July 23 to 30 .

Romeo was among 16 team "accompany referees" nominated by the Asian Volleyball Confederation, said All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA) in a press release.

It is a proud moment for Manipur to see Romeo, who had successfully officiated matches in the 22nd Asian Women's U-20 Volleyball Championship recently hosted by China (July 1 to 9 in Jiangmen), receive the call to conduct matches for yet another continental championship, said AMVA while wishing him success on his new assignment.
