PREPAK (Pro) hails Asian Body Building bronze medallist

Imphal, June 16 2012: The proscribed PREPAK (Pro) has congratulated Yumnam Momota of Sagolband Thingom Leikai on winning bronze medal in the 46th Asian Body Building Championship held at Kagithane, Taskent on June 2 and 3 .

A press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer, department of publicity and propaganda Boby Mangang remarked that Momota's success is a reflection of the sheer grit and will power of Manipuri women.

Yumnam Momota is wife of Yumnam Barun and they have one son and two daughters.

It was under Barun's guidance that Momota trained as a body builder.

The outfit also wished that Momota may bring more laurels for Manipur in future championships.

Momota's success would be an inspiration for many young women players of Manipur/Kangleipak.

Even though success in the field of sports demands Government support, the existing sports department of Manipur is nothing but a place of corruption for some high-ranking bureaucrats and contractors, the outfit alleged.
