Imphal, February 16 2025: NAPSA, Kha Imphal and CYCLONE, Thangmeiband registered comprehensive victories in today's matches of the 12th Manipur Veteran T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 .

In a Group B match staged this morning, NAPSA restricted toss winners BSC-A, Brahmapur Sangai Chuthek to 101/8 before chasing down the target in 13.2 overs without any loss thanks to Ibobi 41 not out and Bhogendro 55 not out.

Aribam Johnson 37 and Romesh 22 not out were the leading run getters for BSC-B in the first innings that saw Gopal Sharma (2/16) and Bhogendro (2/12) claiming four wickets and three others picking a wicket apiece.

Bhogendro of NAPSA who hit a half century and picked two wickets was adjudged player of the match.

Later in a Group A match, CYCLONE sealed their third straight victory by thrashing BSC-A by 88 runs.

CYCLONE, after opting to bat first, piled up 219 runs for 5 wickets as Uhsam Robinson scored a 56-ball 86 and Shashi 24 and Rohindro Pheiroijam 34 made significant contributions before Tarun (3/22) and Dhanendrajit (3/20) ran riot to restrict BSC-A to 131/9 .

For BSC-A, Robert picked two wickets (2/35) as Yaiphatanba and Rajibkumar claimed a wicket apiece.

In reply, Dinachandra topscored with an unbeaten 30 for BSC-A as Aribam Rishi 20 and Laishram Geetchandra 18 followed suit.

Usham Robinson of CYCLONE was adjudged player of the match.
