Imphal, November 15 2019: WYC, Yumnam Khunou thumped KYSC&L, Kha Jiri by 3-1 goals to claim the title of the 5th A Iboton Memorial U-15 Boys Football League-2019 organised by District Sports Association Bishnupur at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.

WYC which saw off UFA and UKCCL in the Group stage en route to the final , proved why they deserve the 7 team tournament title by dominating the game right from the beginning.

WYC showed their intentions clear from the word go by stringing a series of attack but were denied by KYSC&L which too had a exciting journey in group stage.

KYSC&L however faltered in the 18th minute when Nikesh made a fine effort count to hand WYC the lead before his team mate Kennedy extended the lead to 2-0 ten minutes latter.

KYSC&L which trailed 0-2 in the first half made a determined return after the break and seemed to get back on form with M Jiban reducing the gap into half in the 35th minute but WYC step up their defence to hold their lead well before Thoithoi restored the two goal lead for the team yet again.

It was an easy task for WYC to hold on to their lead and surge home 3-1 as the Kha Jiri side were reduced to 10-man after Y Bikash Darson was sent off with his second yellow card of the game in the 55th minute (first in 23rd minute) .
