State Level Sepak Takraw Championship : Stage set for senior women's semi-finals

Imphal, November 12 2021: The semifinal line up of the senior women's competition in the ongoing State Level Sepak Takraw Championship was completed today.

In all, 9 teams clubbed into two groups were in the fray for the title of the 35th edition of the championship which is underway at IMSUC ground, Heingang.

Group A winners MPSC-B will play group B runners up PUC-A Kairang in the first semi-final before group A winners SAIRC-B take on group A runners up SAIRC-A .

Sub-Junior Girls
The day also saw SWC, Hiyanglam earn a 16-21, 21-12, 21-19 win over ALSA, Top Siphai in a league match of the sub-junior girls competition participated by 5 teams.

In another league match of the same competition, PUC-A beat PUC-B 21-8, 21-11 .

Junior Boys
In a group A league match of the junior boys' regu competition, SAIRC-A downed PUC 24-22, 21-18.In another Group A league match, SAIRC-B beat SAIRC-D 21-15, 21-15 .

Meanwhile, in the Group B league matches of the junior boys' competition, hosts IMSUC edged past PUC-A 12-21, 21-16, 21-14 and SAIRC-A beat SAIRC-C 21-5, 22-20 .
