Second Division I-league 2015 : NEROCA FC to clash with Fateh Hyderabad on Nov 14

Imphal, November 12 2015: The Second Division I-League will kick-off on November 14 at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Manipur's NEROCA FC, making its debut in the league will take on Fateh Hyderabad FC in the first league match of the East-Conference.

Exuding confidence of the set task ahead, NEROCA FC Coach Gift Raikhan said that his team will deploy best men and deploy innovative tactics to win the matches.

During an interaction with media persons at Hotel Grande, Chingmeirong, Gift Raikhan said that NEROCA FC has to win the first match against Fateh Hyderabad.

"Our players will put in best effort to win the match and they are really fit and prepared for the showdown," said the coach.

Fateh Hyderabad FC will also be making its debut in the Second Division I-League against NEROCA FC.

Except one or two senior players, most of the players of Fateh Hyderabad FC are young.

Wangkheirampam Tomba, popularly known as "Golden Tomba" is playing for NEROCA FC in the league apart from the club roping in three foreign players - Offor Emeka Christian, Onwubuariri Ikechukwu Joseph and Amamba Jeremiah Elekwachi.

NEROCA FC's second match will be played on November 28 in Guwahati against another debutant Guwahati FC.

After this, NEROCA FC will face Gangtok Himalayan SC in Gangtok on December 5 .

The league match will come back to Khuman Lampak Imphal on December 12 and NEROCA FC will clash with veterans of Mohammedan SC.

On December 19, NEROCA FC will face Guwahati again in home ground.

NEROCA FC will meet Gangtok Himalayan SC again in Khuman Lampak on January 2, 2016.Thereafter, Manipur's NEROCA FC will have two more encounters in Hyderabad and Kolkata against Fateh Hyderabad and Mohammedan SC on January 9 and 16 respectively.

This time, the Second Division League has five debutants.

Second Division League 2015-16 will see major change in the format as it is going to be played home and away basis unlike last season.

Eleven teams are divided in two conferences according to their geographical location; three teams from each conference would qualify to the final stage which would decide the eventual winner of Second Division League 2015-16 .

Gangtok Himalayan SC (Sikkim), Mohammedan SC (West Bengal), Guwahati FC (Assam), NEROCA FC (Manipur) and Fateh Hyderabad (Telangana) will scuffle off in the Eastern Conference while Lonestar Kashmir FC (Jammu & Kashmir), Minerva AFC (Chandigarh), PIFA, Kenkre FC, DSK Shivajians (Maharashtra) and Dempo SC (Goa) would ply their trade from Western Conference.

Gangtok Himalayan SC, Guwahati FC, Neroca FC, Fateh Hyderabad and Minerva AFC are going to debut in this season and rubbing their shoulders along with Mohammedan SC and other veteran football clubs.
