MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournament commences

Imphal, October 12 2024: The Manipur University Inter College (M&W) Kabaddi Tournament 2024-25, organised by the Pole Star College, Wabagai Hiyanglam kicked off today under the aegis of the Manipur University Sports Committee.

The men's tournament is featuring 8 teams while the women's team is featuring 6 teams.

In the women's matches Manipur University went down 48-57 to Lilong Haoreibi College who will now face SK Women's College in the semi-final.

In the second match, hosts Pole Star College beat Moirang College 48-21 to set up the second semi-final date with W Mani Girls' College.

The semi-final line up of the men's competition was also completed today with the end of first round.

In the first match, Mayai Lambi College knocked out YK College 36-22 .

They will play Manipur University, who defeated Thoubal College 49-47 in the second match, in the semi-final.

In the third match, Pole Star College defeated Moirang College 51-16 to set up a semi-final date with Lilong Haoreibi College who saw off JCRE 44-15 in the fourth match.
