Imphal, February 12 2016 : The 13th Manipur State and 7th Junior Equestrian Championship, jointly organised by IGAR (South) and Manipur Equestrian Association began today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

Major General VS Sreenivas, IG, Assam Rifles (South) graced the inaugural function as chief guest while Manipur Equestrian Association president Dr Joy Kumar Singh, organisation committee chairman Professor Prioyranjan Singh and Brigadier VT Mathew, Commander 9 Sector Assam Rifles attended as presidium members.

In today's junior show jumping Round-B, Kh Revaldo � K&MM Riding School clinched the first position while K Kuber Singh � K&MM Riding School and H Nongpoknganba Singh � Chingkheihunba went for second and third positions respectively.

In the girls' show jumping Round � A&B, Romabati Devi � K&MM Riding School stood first while Th Tana Devi � Chingkheihunba Polo Club and Th Jetho claimed the second and third positions respectively.
