Imphal, January 09 2025: Manipur's S Rokeshon of Awang Sekmai has made it to the Indian men's squad for the upcoming inaugural Kho-Kho World Cup.

He participated in the National camp that began on December 10 last in New Delhi and he found his name in the squad as announced by the Kho Kho Federation of India for the world cup to be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium from January 13 to 19 .

Furthermore, general secretary of Manipur Amateur Kho Kho Association (MAKKA), M Madhusudon has been named as the chairman of the technical committee besides Kh Imo, NIS and M Manglem Singh, NIS as technical officials for the said championship.

MAKKA expressed happiness over the selection of Rokeshon and appointment of three officials by the National federation for the prestigious event.

MAKKA also extended best wishes to S Rokeshon ahead of the world event.
