Churachandpur, June 08 2022: Lamka Football Club yesterday lifted the T Khaikhanlian Memorial Churachandpur District First Division League 2020-21 trophy as they trounced Gothol YC 3-0 in the ultimate clash here at Lamka Public ground.

The league, participated by 12 clubs, saw the two finalists progress to the District Super Division League.

In Lamka Football Club's convincing 3-0 win as Levis Jangminlun scored twice and Suanminlal netted once.

Having scored 4 goals in 3 games, Jangminlen of B Ebenezer Youth Club emerged top-scorer honour while Pauminlal of Lamka FC grabbed the Player-of-the-Tournament Award.

Best Goalkeeper Award on the other hand went to Paulungmuan of Lamka FC.

Lamka FC took 8 years to restore a place in the Super Division League while Gothol YC returned to the top-flight after they were relegated in 2017 .
