Imphal, November 07 2024: SHADOW, TRAU, PCC and KSDO emerged victorious in today's matches of the 5th MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Singh Memorial Trophy.

SHADOW Thangmeiband beat AMCA Thoubal by 30 runs.

TRAU Kwakeithel beat SU Sagolband by 120 runs.

PCC Mayai Koibi beat KASC Khomidok by 9 wickets.

KSDO Kiyamgei beat SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai by 9 wickets.

SHADOW vs AMCA

In the match at Lairenjam Public Ground, SHADOW won the toss and opted to face the ball first.

SHADOW managed to amass 137 runs for 10 wickets in 29 overs.

Arubam Goshan Singh and Laishram Bidyasagar Meitei took 22 runs each.

Arubam Goshan Singh took his 22 from 45 balls, and Laishram Bidyasagar knocked his 22 from 39 balls.

Yohenba Konjengbam scored 19 runs from 35 balls and Sagatpam Lanchenba scored 16 runs from 41 balls.

AMCA's Hanif, Khulakpam Fariyaz Khan, Moichingmayum Md Yakin and Maibam Anish took 2 wickets each, and Thoubalmayum Mustakim took 1 wicket.

AMCA's chase, however, fell short and the team ended scoring just 107 for 10 wickets in 29 overs.

AMCA's S Albash knocked 34 runs from 85 balls.

TRAU vs SU

Riding on Mutum Swabhiman's massive 164 runs off 91 balls, TRAU amassed a total of 276 runs for 3 wickets in 35 overs.

Huiningshumbam Luching and Ishorchandra Loitongbam scored 45 (79) and 38 (31) helped TRAU reach the 276 .

SU's Keisham Rajkumar took 2 wickets and Keisham Yaikhomba took 1 .

SU's Keisham Anderson took a massive 80 runs off 53 but the team ended scoring only 156 for 10 wickets in 26 overs.

TRAU's Mutum Swabhiman and Tyrus Chabungbam took 4 wickets each.

Huiningshumbam Luching and Ringku Moirangthem took 1 wicket each.

PCC vs KASC

At Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang), KASC won the toss and opted to bat first to score 64 for 9 in 14.4 overs.

Syed Ashif scored the most runs for the team--18 runs off 25 balls.

PCC's Lucky Th took 5 wickets.

Lamnganba Nongmaithem took 2 wickets and Rojer Laishram took 1 .

PCC's chase proved easy with star wicket taker Lucky Thokchom scoring 45 runs from just 18 balls.

With only a wicket down, PCC knocked 66 in just 4.1 overs to win the match.

KSDO vs SCCC

At Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal, SCCC batted first to score just 63 runs for 10 wickets in 19.3 overs.

Only Ranjan M (11 runs off 15) and Khongbantabam Aristotle (10 runs off 6) scored double digits for SCCC.

KSDO's chase for the target ended in just 7.1 overs with the team scoring 64 runs for only a wicket down.

Md Washim scored 19 runs from 21 balls.

Md Abu Sufiyan scored 14 runs from 12 balls.

Kh Firdos took 11 runs from 11 balls.
