3rd MCA Elite Tournament : YWC down CHAMP by 11 runs

Imphal, March 31 2016: YWC, Langthabal registered an 11 run win against CHAMP, Khagempali in the ongoing 3rd MCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Memorial Elite Tournament, organised by the Manipur Cricket Association (MCA), today at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangshangbam.

Winning the toss YWC opted to bat first and set 118 runs target (all out) in 28.1 overs.

Prafulomani produced an impressive 48 runs off 45 balls.

The other notable players were Bikranjit and Bishwas scoring 17 and 14 runs re- spectively.

For CHAMP, Sunder and Sultan scalped three wickets each while Rabi grabbed two wickets.

Batting second, CHAMP were bundled out for 107 runs in the allotted 30 overs with one wicket left .

Rajesh was the highest scorer for CHAMP as he hit 39 runs off 48 balls.

The other main scorers Premchand and Robinson contributed 13 and 11 runs respectively.

Kishan, Priyokumar, Prasanta and Bishwas claimed two wickets each for YWC.

The man of the match title went to Prafullomani of YWC .
