Women's League: KRYPHSA crush WFA, YWC upstage ICSA

Imphal, January 07 2022: KRYPHSA pummelled WFA 7-0 as YWC eased past ICSA 4-1 in the 12th AMFA Senior Women's Football League 2021-22 on Friday at Turf Ground, Lamlong.

Roja Devi scored a hat-trick in KRYPHSA's 7-0 hammering of WFA.

Roja set the tone for the rout with an 11th-minute opener and then L Bibicha Devi made it 2-0 in the 27th minute before Th Babysana tripled the lead in the 35th minute.

Roja then upped the ante collecting'her second and team's fourth goal in the 41st minute as Th Babysana netted her second goal in the 68th minute to put her side 5-0 up before M Sanjana made it 6-0 in the 74th minute.

Roja then wrapped up the win with her third goal in the final seconds of stoppage time.

Hoineihat claimed a double as YWC registered a dominant 4-1 triumph over ICSA.

T Thoibisana opened the scoring for YWC in the 9th minute and Hoineihat extended their lead in the 43rd minute before a defensive error by YWC gifted a goal to ICSA in the 47th minute.

YWC, however, got their momentum back with Hoineihat on target for the second time (75th) before Nandeshwori rounded off the scoring just before the end of the game to see their side run out easy winners.
