DYC, PYC, CCYC prevail in Chandel 2nd Div League

Imphal, October 29 2024: Damjol YC, Penaching YC and Chandel Christian YC triumphed in Tuesday's matches of the Chandel 2nd Division Football League 2024 .

Damjol started the day with a 2-0 win over An-gkhelchayang YCC in their encounter at Ziontlang Ground, Chandel.

Shering-war opened the scoring in the 28th minute and Willington netted the second goal in the 88th minute for the eventual result.

Penaching YC outplayed Purumtampak SC 3-1 with goals from Mothra (5), Ken-nish (61) and Kipshachung (68).Thaochoi (33) scored a consolation goal for Pu-rumtampak.

Meanwhile, Chandel Christian beat Khoriibung FC in a penalty shootout.

The game went into penalty kicks after the two sides remained 1-1 at the end of regulation time.

Chandel Christian prevailed 4-2 in the shootout courtesy of successful penalties from Bs Phowlthahring, Ps Phowlhrin, Ns Larningam, and Sr Bethangam.
