Manipur outplay Sikkim by 123 runs in U-25 State A Trophy

Imphal, November 26 2021: Manipur notched up a comprehensive 123-run wjn over Sikkim in the Men's U-25 State A Trophy 2021-22 at ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati, on Friday.

Johnson took centre stage with an unbeaten 93 for Manipur, who scored 198 for 8 after they were asked to bat first.

The state team's innings also saw Nitesh (30) and Denin (24 not out) make decent contributions.

Then Kishan led Manipur's brilliant bowling display that skettled out Sikkim for 75 in 36.5 overs.

Kishan scalped four wickets and Alfred Hmar picked up two wickets, with Nitesh, Bikash Singh and Denin chipping in with one wicket each to propel their side to an emphatic victory.

Earlier, Rahul Kumar claimed four wickets, Anwesh took two wickets, and Ingsho Limboo and Rahul Gupta added a wicket apiece for Sikkim.
