SSU condoles demise of Oinam Thaba

Imphal, December 19 2024: Southern Sporting Union (SSU) on Thursday deep sorrow over the passing of Oinam Thaba Singh, a founding player and former executive member of the club, who died on December 16, 2024 at his residence in Singjamei Oinam Thingel.

A condolence meeting, chaired by Vice President Sanahal Sharma, was held at the club's premises on Thursday.

Members and players observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect for the departed.

In a message, the SSU described Oinam Thaba Singh as "a true legend and pillar of our football community, especially SSU .

His contributions to the club and the sport as a whole will never be forgotten.

Out thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

May his legacy continue to inspire future generations" .
