MNCA U-14 Boys': PCC, BKCC, KSDO, AKSDO wrap up comprehensive victories

PCC, BKCC, KSDO and AKSDO recorded comprehensive victories in Thursday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25.PCC produced an all-round performance to demolish CCK by 227 runs at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang).
Simon Konthoujam's impressive 125 and Lamnganba Nongmaithem's 75 guided PCC to a formidable total of 305/7 after being invited to bat first.
In response, PCC's bowlers required just 8.5 overs to dismiss CCK for a mere 28 runs, with Simon Konthoujam and Rojer Laishram taking 5 and 4 wickets, respectively.
BKCC also enjoyed a commanding victory, thrashing FORCE by 10 wickets at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
FORCE were restricted to a modest 79 runs in 17.3 overs, with Thiyam Prabinson Meitei claiming 4 wickets and Kangjam Dhrubaraj adding 3 wickets.
Laishram Bikash and Nepoleon Kongkham contributed 1 wicket each.
BKCC chased down the target in just 9.3 overs, with an unbeaten 45 from Thiyam Prabinson and 24 not out from Manganchaoba Irengbam.
At Lairenjam Public Ground, AKSDO triumphed over YAL by 98 runs.
AKSDO set a competitive target of 171/5, with notable contributions from Chingamba Elangbam (72), Borish Khudrakpam (25), Kh Korounganba (24), and Bidy-ananda Moirangthem (13 not out) .
YAL, in response, fell short, finishing on 73 .
Chingamba Elangbam starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Bidyananda Ningthoujam claimed 2 wickets, and Bidyasagar Khundrakpam and Punshiba Akoijam each took 1 wicket, ensuring a comfortable win for AKSDO.
In the day's other match, KSDO outclassed CDCC by 9 wickets at PTRC Ground.
CDCC were bowled out for just 37 runs in 14.5 overs, with Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan leading the attack with 5 wickets.
Kh Firdos, Md Adanan Raj, and Mujahi contributed 1 wicket each.
KSDO chased down the target in just 3.2 overs, with Md Washim (23 not out) and Kh Firdos (11 not out) guiding them to victory, losing only 1 wicket in the process.
