Manipur maul Pondicherry 12-0 in Sr Women's Football Championship

Manipur produced a devastating attacking display to overwhelm Pondicherry 12-0 in their second match at the 26th Senior Women's Football Championship on Tuesday in Kerala.
Prameshwori led the rout with a five-goal salvo.
Prameshwori needed just 35 seconds to strike home the opener before she went on to double the lead in the 7th minute.
One minute later, Kiranbala tripled the lead as Prameshwori completed her hat-trick in the 20th minute before Rin-aroy made it 4-0 in the 22nd minute.
Manipur's scoring spree continued with Prameshwori scoring her fourth and team's fifth goal in the 39th minute and Mandakini found the sixth goal just before the end of the first half.
Prameshwori kick-started the second-half barrage after collecting her fifth goal in the 48th minute as Anita scored the state side's ninth goal before Babysan (66th), Kiranbala (70th) and Anita (83rd) converted to wrap up the victory in style.
It was Manipur's second straight win after their 4-0 drubbing of Meghalaya in their campaign opener.
Lalcha Memorial Team secured a 2-1 win over Satlun Memorial Team (SMT) Haipi in the semi-league round of the ongoing KFA's Open Night Football Tournament on Monday night.
Seikhochon (13th) and Laljahao (40th) scored for Lalcha Memorial Team while Lenboi (74th) scored for SMT Haipi.
Meanwhile, KMT Khongngam were given a walkover against Kholjang Youth Club after the latter were suspended from the tournament.
One of the Semihnalists of the ongoing Kuki Football Academy's Open Night Football Tournament, Kholjang Youth Club were suspended from the tournament for three years on disciplinary ground.
