Grades of 4 state Karetakas upgraded

The World Karate Federation has upgraded the grades of four Karetekas of Manipur Amateur Karate Do Association (MAKA) through the Karate India Organisation (KIO).
According to a press release from MAKA, Shihan Mutum Bankim, a 7th Dan certified by the National Federation, has been homologated 7th Dan by the World Karate Federation.
Sensei Soibam Bindeshori Chanu, a 5th Dan certified by National Federation, has been upgraded to 6th Dan of World Karate Federation.
Sensei Soibam Arunkumar, a 4th Dan certified by national federation, has been upgraded to 5th Dan of the World Karate Federation.
Sempai Soram Chinglen Luwang, a 2nd Dan certified by National Federation, has been upgraded to 3th Dan of the World Karate Federation.
The upgraded certificates were received by the delegates of the Karate India Organisation on November 18 during the 25th World Karate Championship 2021 held at Dubai, UAE, and were handed over to the state quartet on Friday (November 26), the release added.
