Imphal, February 26 2023: Under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), United Clubs' Organisation of Bishnupur District (UCOBID) along with Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (MPAL) and Leimarol Lup organised a Kang exhibition match, a traditional Manipuri game, at Kang Shanglen Ningthoukhong Awang Khunou in Bishnupur district on Saturday in connection with the Players' Day.

The programme was attended by AMUCO secretary general Dr Norendro Thokchom, UCOBID president W Basanta, MPAL president N Thambaleima and AMOWVA Bishnupur district general secretary H Sumila as the presidium members.

Speaking at the event, Dr Norendro stressed the need to preserve and promote the indigenous games of the state.
